
Alternate Realities Challange
Task
Create a 5 second render using the mocap data provided.
Inspiration and origin
We all started with this blank canvas and were told to create whatever we wanted. the only rules, don't move the spherical element and don't change the camera or mocap data. everything else was fair game.
After recently playing Shadow of the Tomb Raider. I knew I wanted to create a Tomb Raider snowy scene and this challenge provided the perfect opportunity to create this render.
Software used

Unreal Engine 4.26
Unreal was used as the work horse in this project. By using multiple addons i was able to quickly prototype an idea. unreal was used for lighting, white boxing, and general composition. A key addon used in this project was the ultra dynamic sky which provided the snow and aurora Borealis effects.

Blender
Blender was used to re rig the character model which I purchased off sketch fab as the original rigging was broken.
