Task
Fully model a rig a 90s Japanese sports car
Inspiration and origin
While in university I briefly had the opportunity to model a car and it was one of the hardest things I had ever modeled, and look terrible. 2 years later and I still had not attempted to model a car again however after learning new modeling techniques such as splines cages, I decided to try and push myself again by attempting to model a 90s Japanese sports car. I chose a 1996 MitsubIshi Eclipse to model because the overall shape had very few flat parts and I wanted to push my self.
While not perfect it was a good bench mark for me and I look forward to trying to create another car at some point in the future.

Maya
Maya was used to model and Uv the car.

Blender
Blender was used to rig and texture the car. Using textures from Textures.com I was able to quickly put together a small scene using blender as the renderer.
Originally I Created a small scene on a pier to show off the car but later decided I wanted to place the car in a city at night.
